Job tasks

Chief animator

• creates and organizes the whole animation program in the hotel with help of his/her team
• is responsible to the hotel management for the animation program
• gives tasks to other animators
• checks the running of activities and supervises other animator by their duties
• moderates evening programs and shows in different languages
• previous experience in animation is a must

 

Children animator

• organizes a program for children in Miniclub, on the beach, by the pool etc.
• is responsible for evening animation for children (Minidisco, carnival, children shows) in cooperation with other animators and under the supervision of chief animator
• takes part on evening shows

 

Sport/fitness animator

• organizes sport activities and tournaments in different kinds of sport (beach volleyball, football, tennis, table tennis, water ball, boccia, darts, aerobic, aqua gym, stretching, taeboo etc.) depending on his/her skills and hotel facilities
• takes part on evening shows

 

Dancer

• presents dance shows and musicals for hotel guests of all contractual partners of the employer
• previous experience with professional dance is required
• participates also on some daily animation activities

 

Waiter, waitress

• serves hotel guests in F&B hotel facilities
• works in international team
• must have previous experience and know different types of services (plate service, silver service, banquets, self-service)
• must be flexible with the time schedule (split shifts)

Barkeeper

• works in a hotel bar
• must be experienced and able to work alone behind the bar
• good knowledge of cocktail mixing is a must
• must be able to express him/herself and feel comfortable when speaking
• with people he/she doesn’t know

Receptionist

• works at the hotel reception
• must have previous experience in the hotel industry and good knowledge of computers
• has to be able to supervise a group of people
• should be flexible with the time schedule (split shifts)
• must be able to express him/herself and feel comfortable when speaking with people he/she doesn’t know

 

Shop Assistant

• works in boutique inside the village- must be able to express him/herself and feel comfortable when speaking with people he/she doesn’t know

 

Guide

•   esponsible for organizing trips & guided tours for all hotel guests
• should know the history and habits of the country where he/she will work
• has to be able to supervise a group of people
• participates also on some evening animation activities

 

Age

18 – 35 years

 

Languages

Good or fluent French, depending on position. Knowledge of other languages (English, German, Russian, Italian, ...), is an advantage.

Salary

1350 EURO gross per month – for all positions

 

Length of stay

3 – 8 months

 

Beginning of employment

January - June 2007

 

Working hours

8-10 hours a day, 6 days a week, one day off.

 

Accommodation and board

Free accommodation and full board is provided in the hotel. Accommodation might be provided in the hotel or in apartments near the hotel. Animators normally live in a double/triple room.

Full board (three meals per day) and drinking water (sometimes soft drinks as well) are in all the hotels for free.

Work permit

For people from new EU countries, work permit is required in some destinations.

Our French partner will apply for the permits, if required.

 

Insurance

Medical and accident insurance is provided for the time at work and out of work. Professional liability insurance is provided only for the time at work.

 

Job placement

Place of work is set by the company, it can not be chosen by animators.

It’s not always possible to guarantee the placement of couples or group of more people to the same hotel.

 

Flight ticket

Flight ticket is booked individually by every animator. Our agency can advise you where to find cheap flight tickets on internet.

Flight tickets will be reimbursed by employer at the end of the season.

 

Casting

Every candidate has to take part in one of the castings, where the company will choose suitable candidates.

 

Fees

Participant fee – is to be paid after signing the agreement about future employment.

 

Another expenses

Flight ticket (reimbursed after certain period), pocket money for beginning of your stay.

Information for an applicant

As you have accommodation and full board free, the salary will be your net profit.

You will work mostly in luxurious hotels and clubs, in beautiful resorts by the sea where other people come only for holiday. You can spend your days off on the beach or by making trips.

You will gain new contacts all around the Europe and improve your language skills.
